New Novella Announcement & Character Art: Rei - Tengu Warrior Princess

Splitting Dusk has been a huge success thanks to your support! I've read your comments and messages, and am excited to share a new novella announcement and character art: Rei - Tengu Warrior Princess.

I commissioned this awesome piece of Splitting Dusk's most popular character from the super talented Sbsillustrations on Fiverr (HERE is their Fiverr). 

Stoic, deadly, and devoted, Rei has served the Tengu as their commander-in-chief far longer than her role as Natius' (the Demon King) captain of the guard. It's time to share her story!

New novella announcement: "Down Falls the Queen" (working title).  Here's some sneak-peak information about the June 2021 novella:

A Tengu serves the world as the god-appointed hand of justice. Rei, to be exact, is that hand. For years the youngest Tengu Warrior Princess has served her father, the Tengu King, to keep the balance of good and evil poised on the edge of her blade, never tipping too far to one side. Cold, calculating, and loyal, every Tengu knows that Rei will follow in the tradition of her people and, as the youngest heir, ascend the throne on her 500th birthday so that her father may retire from his millennium-long reign. 
Her straightforward world cracks, though, when twin brothers from the nearby Angel Refuge seek her father's aid in resolving an eternal dispute between the Angels and the Demons. Can Rei remain an impartial mediator? Or is the world that the twin abominations--vampires--shows her too tempting to settle for the status quo?
